After months of attention and constant work to monitor the vineyards in Terre di Masciulli, the grapes have reached ripeness, reaching the perfect parameters for harvesting; we kick off the harvest of our Montepulciano.
In the vineyard, the aromas in the air are exceptional; we pick our grapes by hand and immediately transport them to the winery.
After destemming, the clusters are crushed and macerated with their skins inside fermenters for at least 7 to 10 days. The skins, in contact with the must, transfer intense color, pigments and polyphenols; thus our nectar is born, from an ancient operation handed down from generation to generation.
The very low yields of our vineyards, about 80 to 100 quintals per hectare, the optimally exposed soils, tendon and row crops, but above all dedication, work and passion, give rise to our Montepulciano D.O.C. 2022
